Week 3: And they call it, pub love…

Dear all,

I hope you are all well and recovering from freshers’ flu and conference cold. We hope our new members enjoyed our Meet and Greet this week. Don’t worry if you couldn’t make it, we have plenty of events coming up for you to attend!

On Wednesday, we will be hosting our Pub Crawl! We will be touring our favourite pubs, ending in a night in York. We will start from D Bar at 7.30pm and then head off into town. This is a great opportunity not only to get to know people, but also to experience the finest drinks York has to offer and our favourite spots in town. You can find more details on the Facebook event.

On Friday, we will be hosting our committee meeting in D/104 at 6.15pm, where all are welcome. Following this, we will have another debate, starting at 7.15pm. This week, we will be debating the legacy of David Cameron. If you are interested in speaking in the debate, please get in touch with our Internal Vice Chairman, Will Barnes, or drop us an email. Following the debate, we will head to the Garden of India for our weekly curry.

Finally, if you haven’t already done so, click here to pay membership! This entitles you to refreshments at our pizza and drinks events, as well as voting and standing rights in elections.

As always, I hope you have a good week and look forward to seeing you at our events!
