With the European Elections approaching the York Debate society hosted a European Election Special Question Time, and no question time is complete without a Conservative. Representing the Conservatives on this occasion was our very own Huw Davies, Secretary to the Committee. Others on the panel included Nick Button for the Labour Club, Charlie Kingsbury for the Lib Dems and Michael Hollins for UKIP.

Huw did an excellent job of standing up for the free market and a European renegotiation and fighting off socialism and cheap populism. There to cheer him on and ask questions to the panel were several other members of the society.

It was a truly invigorating even with a broad range of views being heard, but there was only one party represented who stands up for Britain in the European Parliament and that party was represented by Huw Davies.
