The spring term comes to a close…

This term has been fantastic! With a good few new fresher joining us on socials, the society has expanded. Debates ranged from THBT Strikes should be banned in times of economic hardship to THBT The special relationship is still special. Socials were always entertaining, with numbers steadily increasing throughout the term. Yorkshire Pride saw dozens of Yorkshire puddings and flat caps being worn in Willow, Rainbow Coalition invited all other politics societies on campus and the PEP Ball was the longest social of the year. Thanks to our External Vice Chair the York Tories have hosted some incredibly informative speakers this term including Martin Vickers, MP and James Wharton, MP. The term finished with a busy couple of weeks with trips and socials. After the first full term of the new committee it is clear that the society is running as smoothly as ever, so next term any new members are welcome to come along! Keep an eye on our Facebook group for event information:
