Campaigning in Haxby

A typical Tory activist canvassing the verdant Yorkshire countryside.

A (disappointingly small) party of York Tories headed out for a spot of campaigning in the village of Haxby on Saturday. After a coffee and two or three hours of quiet leafleting in the morning sunlight, we headed back to The Tiger for drinks and lunch. Julian has passed on his appreciation to those who came in his regular members e-mail – so thanks to you-know-who-you-are.

Hopefully we can get a better turnout next time!
