With Daniel Nesbitt unfortunately no longer able to come and speak, we held a debate: ‘THB that the UK spends too much on international development. More specifically is the current level of spending at 0.7% of GDP too much.
A vote was carried out before and after the debate, with the results shown below.
Both sides fought well, but the ‘For’ side managed to keep their advantage and hence the motion therefore carried, that the UK spends too much on international development.
